Revalidation Training of Basic Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations
Training Objective:
In accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended, ensure that Masters, Chief Officers, Chief Engineers, Second Engineers, and appropriate Officers in Charge of a Navigational Watch assigned to liquefied gas carriers meet the minimum competency standards required by Regulation A-V/1-2 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended (STCW CODE). Graduates of this training should possess the necessary knowledge and operational skills required for liquefied gas carriers, including familiarity with essential procedures and emergency response measures, to ensure the safety and environmental protection of liquefied gas carriers.
