Basic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations
Training Objective:
In accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Code, including its amendments in 1978, for Captains, Chief Officers, and Ratings assigned to oil tankers and chemical tanker vessels. This training aims to ensure that individuals meet the minimum competency standards required by Regulation A-V/1-1 of the STCW Code. Upon completion of this training, participants should possess a thorough understanding of essential knowledge and operational skills necessary for both oil tankers and chemical tanker vessels, and be proficient in watchkeeping operations and emergency response measures, to ensure the safety and environmental protection of both types of vessels.
