Revalidation Training of Ro/Ro Passenger Ships Training
Training Objective:
In accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended, ensure that Masters, Officers, Ratings, and other personnel assigned to ro/ro passenger ships meet the minimum competency standards required by Regulation A-V/2 of the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended (STCW CODE). Graduates of this training should have familiarization with providing direct services to passengers in passenger areas, including training in crowd management, safety, passenger and cargo safety, crisis handling, and behavior management, to ensure the safe operation of ro/ro passenger ships.
