General Operator`s Certificate for GMDSS
Training Objective:
In accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Code, including its amendments, 1978, the aim of this training is to ensure that personnel assigned to radio operation duties on board ships meet the minimum competency standards required by Regulation A-IV/1 of the STCW Code. Upon completion of this training, participants should possess proficient knowledge of various distress, emergency, and safety communication procedures essential for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System, as well as mastery of the correct operational skills and emergency response measures to ensure the safety of lives at sea.
