Survival Craft and Rescue Boat Training
Training Objective:
In accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) Code, including its amendments, 1978, the aim of this training is to ensure that personnel responsible for the operation of survival craft or rescue boats are fully familiar with the construction, operation, management, and procedures for handling emergencies related to such life-saving appliances. This is to meet the minimum competency standards required by Regulation A-VI/2 of the STCW Code.
